Honestly Ex Games is nothing special, it is a simple heartfelt contemporary romance. I picked it up because I needed something quick and lovely to read and this book worked perfectly.
Ex Games is about Taylor and Mason. Taylor has been dating Mason's brother for three years before he leaves her to marry his ex's brother. Mason wants to stop the wedding and asks Taylor to help him. Let's say that she doesn't jump on this idea as she haaaates Mason (for no real reason honestly). Anyway, rich Mason convinces Taylor by paying her debts. Honestly, the wedding part of the book isn't long at all which was surprising to me. The story is very focused on the growing love between Taylor and Mason and some of Taylor's traumatic past.
The story takes place in New York City and you read some of the hardships of living in one of the most expensive city in the world. You also read about the trauma of losing a child, so it might be triggering for some people.
Taylor and Mason are loveable characters, but they are not memorable characters.
I would definitely recommend this story if you are looking for a fast romantic read.
