Review: Twice in a Blue Moon, Christina Lauren

I really hate that I hated this book! The premise was pretty good a boy and a girl meet on vacation in London and they grow a strong connection in a few days until the boy betrays the innocent girl. A few years later they meet again on a movie shooting as the main actress and the screenwriter, however she hasn’t forgotten his betrayal and isn’t ready to forgive him. Yeah now that sounds pretty good. However, what I got in this book was a spineless main character who forgives and forgets pretty easily. I think this book hit too close to home and I just couldn’t agree with Tate’s decisions and I hated how she was subdued towards her pitiful father.

I hated how Tate was treated by her father and Sam (her first love), they never cared about her feelings and only did what benefited them and when one day they decide they want her forgiveness well she agrees to give it to them.

I, seriously, have never felt so much resentment toward an entire book…

I give it one star, but don't get me wrong this book is well written and I know it isn’t as bad as I perceive it, but as I’ve said it hit to close to home in a very bad way.
